Refund & Cancellation Policy

Our policy regarding donation refunds and cancellations

1. Introduction

Christina Robinson Foundation is grateful for every donation we receive. We understand that sometimes circumstances change, and you may need to request a refund or cancel a recurring donation. This policy outlines our procedures for handling such requests.

2. Donation Refund Policy

2.1 General Policy

As a charitable trust, donations made to Christina Robinson Foundation are generally non-refundable. All donations are immediately put to use to support our charitable programs, including feeding the homeless, supporting education, and providing medical assistance.

2.2 Exceptional Circumstances

We may consider refund requests in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Duplicate Donations: If a donation was accidentally processed more than once due to a technical error
  • Incorrect Amount: If an incorrect amount was charged due to a technical error
  • Unauthorized Transaction: If a donation was made without the account holder's authorization
  • Processing Error: If there was a clear error in processing the donation

2.3 Refund Request Timeline

Refund requests must be made within 7 days of the donation date. Requests made after this period may not be considered.

2.4 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us with the following information:

  • Your full name
  • Email address used for the donation
  • Date of donation
  • Amount donated
  • Transaction ID or receipt number (if available)
  • Reason for the refund request

2.5 Refund Processing

If your refund request is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days
  • The refund will be credited to the original payment method
  • You will receive a confirmation once the refund is processed
  • Any tax receipt issued for the donation will be cancelled

3. Cancellation of Recurring Donations

3.1 Monthly/Recurring Donations

If you have set up a recurring donation, you may cancel it at any time. To cancel a recurring donation:

  • Contact us at least 3 business days before the next scheduled donation date
  • Provide your name, email, and details of the recurring donation
  • We will confirm the cancellation in writing

3.2 Effect of Cancellation

Cancellation will apply to future donations only. Donations already processed cannot be refunded unless they meet the criteria in Section 2.2.

4. Failed Transactions

If a donation transaction fails but the amount is debited from your account:

  • The amount is usually automatically refunded by your bank within 5-7 business days
  • If the amount is not refunded within 10 business days, please contact us with your transaction details
  • We will coordinate with our payment gateway to resolve the issue
